 The hardest part of writing is organizing your ideas because before you write anything you have to figure where this detail is going to go in your body paragraphs. Then you have to create a template or a graphic organizer to see what goes where. Next you write out a rough draft. After that, you let somebody revise your rough draft and let them give you feedback to fix any mistakes on your draft. Finally, write a complete final draft.

 Today, we wrote down and discussed the five stages in the writing process on a sheet of paper. We flipped over the back of the paper and drew a brainstorm web. I learned how to organize and breakdown an essay the easiest way possible. It impacted me because I have written essays like this format, but they were not that good.  Today we drew out a writing prompt and from there we took two goals from the prompt and we wrote a body paragraph about that goal. I learned my goals that I can achieve for the future. It impacted me because I believe I can accomplish those goals. I plan to use this knowledge and achieve the goals that I set out for me to do. I am feeling good today.

Typing and Proofreading our First Draft

Today we had a sub and we typed up our first draft, proofread it, and made changes of our goals this year. I learned how that making changes to my first draft makes my writing sound better when you read it. It impacted me because when I change my writing, it sounds way better and looks more professional. I plan to use this knowledge to make changes in my writing so that when you read it, it was not written by a little kid, it was by a professional writer. I feel tired and ok today.
