¨The Road Not Taken¨ by Robert Frost

Today we annotated the poem. Then we filled out the vocabulary words, two examples of imagery from the poem, the tone of the poem, and summarized each stanza. On the bottom of one side we had to fill out the topics of the poem, the themes, the moral, lesson, or message. On the back of the paper were questions that asked how we relate to it. I learned that time is very crucial when it comes to decision making. It impacted me because I have had to figure out what I should do before I get stuck in a whole and I can´t climb myself out of it. I will use this knowledge to use my time smartly instead of giving it up for the sake of giving it up. I feel tired today.

I learned how to organize and breakdown an essay the easiest way possible. It impacted me because I have written essays like this format, but they were not that good.  Today we drew out a writing prompt and from there we took two goals from the prompt and we wrote a body paragraph about that goal. I learned my goals that I can achieve for the future. It impacted me because I believe I can accomplish those goals. I plan to use this knowledge and achieve the goals that I set out for me to do. I am feeling good today.

Typing and Proofreading our First Draft

Today we had a sub and we typed up our first draft, proofread it, and made changes of our goals this year. I learned how that making changes to my first draft makes my writing sound better when you read it. It impacted me because when I change my writing, it sounds way better and looks more professional. I plan to use this knowledge to make changes in my writing so that when you read it, it was not written by a little kid, it was by a professional writer. I feel tired and ok today.
