 Today we wrote down sentences for the fifteen vocab words. After that, we completed Exercise one which included filling in the blanks to sentences. Next, we did the same thing with Exercise three. We still had to fill in the blank spaces for exercise three. I learned new words that I have never heard before. I plan to use this knowledge for the Tuesday quiz. I´m feeling tired cause the weekend is almost near.

 Today we read an Emily Dickinson poem called ¨Heart! We will forget him!¨. After that we read it we wrote down words that mean heart and mind. After that, we answered some questions. Next, we wrote down the definitions of words from the text. After that, we wrote down the symbols for the words heart, warmth, light, and the two themes. I learned what can happen when you´re in a relationship with somebody. I struggled with one of the questions, because I was trying to figure what question I could come up with about the speaker´s situation in the story. I liked the lesson. It was an interesting topic. 

 Today we read a poem about Emily Dickinson. We wrote down the definitions that came from the passage. We wrote down the definition of the words of Nobody and Somebody. We also wrote down the themes of this poem. The themes of this poem were it´s okay to be different and you don´t have to conform to society standards. I learned that we are all different in our way. It impacted me because I now know what to do when reading a poem. I plan to use this knowledge and use the steps of how to read poetry when I have to read a poem. I enjoyed this lesson cause it was interesting.  

 Today we answered some questions on an Origin myth in Illuminate. I didn´t like the quiz because having to scroll up and down to read the passage and read the questions just gives me a headache. I struggled with trying to connect the dots and find the right answer to the questions. I am feeling tired about today because I just want the week to be over so I can relax. My day was ok. 

 In class we went to canvas from the computer and read an article in Newsela called “The Great Turtle.” It was an Origin myth. I learned that the origin myth from Newsela is a creation story. The story impacted me because I could picture what happened in the story if I was one of the animal characters trying to help the daughter. I plan to understand with this story meant and carry that on to the next story I read. I liked the story overall. It wasn’t my favorite but it’s worth reading different story’s about origin myths. I struggled with answer the bonus thinking questions at the end. I feeling good today. My day is tiring from being in school cause I still feel sleepy here and there but doing ok.
